Care, conservation & presentation.

Saturdays 11am – 3pm

Commencing October 26th

Sarah Trewhella (nee Hosking) married Benjamin Trewhella in 1885 at Simmons reef, Blackwood.

The descendants of Sarah have kept her wedding dress for almost 140 years. The dress as offered to the Daylesford museum required urgent attention and conservation if we were to accept the offer. The stars  aligned and now with the talents and skills of Larry Edwards, Textile Conservator we invite you to witness an amazing result.
