Mist, Magic and Mystery
Wombat Hill provides the stunning setting for our township of Daylesford. The wonderful Botanic Gardens nestle on the summit and allows visitors to scan the broad landscape dotted with ancient volcanic hills.
This exhibition showcases stories, plans, maps, images and artworks connected to Wombat Hill. Rare film footage from 1915 includes our community enjoying Sunday at the Gardens.
There are a series of images from 1960s showing the township covered in heavy snow and others of the town main streets.
This exhibition has been extended but will end Sat 12th October. Last chance!
